Audacity, Respect and Creativity Is My Attitude; Fashion Designer Joseph-Marie Ayissi.

Wazal Couture
Born February 3rd 1984 in Yaounde, AYISSI NGA Joseph-Marie aka JJ DU STYLE is a fashion designer who creates very chic street wears. The French/Cameroonian designer who's father is a tailor, has decided to follow in the footsteps of pioneer Cameroonian fashion designers such as Imane Ayissi and Martial Topolo by creating his own clothing line called 'WAZAL' which was launched in 2005.
He went through a professional training in VANESSA RUIZ fashion school in Paris and specialized in making Tuxedo Jackets.
The name 'WAZAL' is a combination of "WAZA", from the WAZA natural park in Cameroon and "L", from the letter 'L' in 'LION", which is the animal symbol of Cameroon. The Natural park symbolizes 'Respect' and the Lion symbolizes 'Power'.
WAZAL COUTURE expresses a universe of fashion and sports in a very creative and stylish manner. It plays around colours like Black, Orange, Blue and several diverse prints. It also integrates fabrics like pure cotton,  fleece, denim, wax, the Milano, leather and synthetic fur in different ways.

AYISSI NGA Joseph-Marie
In 2006, he launched his first collection which were designs that were worn by celebrities like SINGUILA, ALPECO, WAYNE BECKFORD, ROMARIC KOFFI and LALCKO.
His first Leather Jacket conception was in 2013 and it was called 'Braguette Tété'  .
In the same 2013, 'JJ Du Style' was one of the invitees to the Cameroonian embassy in Paris for an exhibition on the occasion of the National youth day. He was also invited to the Fashion Night event at l’Elysée Lounge in Paris where he presented his 3 concepts: 'WazalRock' , 'Braguette Tété' and 'Africafutur'. These concepts are representations of the symbolic aspects of his brand: 'Audacity', 'Respect' and 'Creativity'.
Designs of 'Wazal Couture' are futuristic and modern.
Check out a presentation of his 2015 Tuxedo Jacket collection, called 'Braguette Tété 2015', that fits into today's trends and is inspired by Cameroonian slangs. ' Tété' which signifies bourgeois-chic. This collection is a wink at African elegance in a street-chic style.  Click HERE
