The news of the death of Cameroonian Makossa singer, Joe Mboule first hit
the airwaves in the evening period of Sunday, October 11, 2015 as wild fire
which was later confirmed that Joe Mboulle is no more.
We now refer to him as late Joe Mboule. Born in 1953 as Georges Ludovic
Njoh Mboule, the deceased is one of the
few composers and songwriters of the Cameroonian Makossa that have been in
business since 1973. It was indeed a memorable year where he touched some of
the best of African music platforms with his hit " Mpuly nwa salamander".
“L’essentiel”
his fourth and latest album , browses
through Makossa rhythms and lots of varieties . These melodies speak of the
ills plaguing the Cameroonian society and his fan base counts among thousands
around the world. Joe Mboule fought very hard against piracy and even on social
networks.
