Mark Daddy Mochio popularly known as M.D was born in Buea, Cameroon. Mark Daddy started his musical career in Douala with the group DREAM 2 REAL through which he became known as one of the best vocalist ,song writer and composer in that area. He later started a solo career working with home based singers like Big BZY, Nabil 4real, Franky P, Randy P just to name this few.
As a hip hop singer with great potentials Mark Daddy never liked the way Hip Hop in Cameroon seemed back then so he decided to go on an international adventure. His first stop was in Czech Republic, but the market Czech Market wasn't for hip hop. So Mark returned home and had to quit music and focused on his basketball career with which took him to Singapore.
While on a visit to Bangkok,Thailand. He came in contact with an African brother and singer from Nigeria, Don Big E together they tested their skills and began appearing together in club scenes and on stages entertaining hip hop fans with their unique and charismatic performances. Without being told, hip hop fans began speculating on the group’s debut Album which was scheduled for release in Africa in the first quarter of 2008 and internationally later same year.
AK’s upcoming Album is in line to set standards for future African Hip Hop Music and Entertainment as Don Big E and Mark Daddy twist and turn lyrics in mainly English and a bit of Broken English like never heard before. From the party bangers to the soulful hits.
Don Big E graduated and was pressurized by his family to move back home and take care of the family business. This was sad news but didn't stop or discourage Mark Daddy from pursuing his dreams. Mark Daddy, came back home in 2009 with an invitation from his manager, Mr Mochio Matthias of "Group Mamone Production" to produce his single "tequiro" which earned him a larger fanbase and recognition from the home media and all hip hop artist precisely in Douala .
M.D later return to Thailand. While performing live at a Motor show in Bangkok, Mark Daddy caught the attention of the organiser and and host of the show, Michael V Piroon aka MVP who was also an artist and everything happened so fast that both artists formed the team M STAR. They have been working real big, touring and performing on bigger platforms and concerts all over the country and working with Thailand's top artists like Mike D Angelo, Thaitenuim, Haward Wang, Nuvo and many others.
Mark Daddy is presently working as New Project Development Manager with AQUA PURI GROUP. he is equally into Emceeing, Deejaying and events management in and around Thailand…
