Welcome to Step-on magazine International
Thanks bro its my pleasure to be here with u people
How would you introduce yourself to someone whom has never known you?
OK for some one who has never known me, G-Loveis an R&B, HIP POP and Afro Beat Artist from Cameroon, who traveled to Dubai and later came to Rwanda where he is presently living and doing his music and has about 6 singles in the market among which 2 videos
No One, No One and Come Let's Go which is making waves over TV channels and the Internet
Tell us something about the name G-love
Ok good, G-Love came from my name Atuobo Godlove Esambily
Which is what some of my parents gave me but now they better know me asG-Love. If you are talking of Atuobo Godlove Esambily somewhere many people might not no who you are talking of, but as soon as you mention G-Love, they’ll be like…”that dude is crazy man”
Among your songs which is your favorite and may be you’ll like to tell us why?
Well I can not really tell the one I love most because I love all the songs that I have released. Seriously I always take my time before releasing any of my songs. And if I don't like a Song why should I release to the people? I think my fans are in a better position to answer this. All the same, from the feedback I’ve been getting from my fans I can say about 95% Prefer ''No One, No One'' to ''ComeLet's Go'' and about 92% Prefer ''ComeLet's Go'' to ''No One, No One''.
Nice escape. Getting a bit personal are you married, any kids?
(Laughs Out Loud) No man! Not yet but I got plans for that. As for kids, I don't have any yet.
Ok you are single. Are you available, searching or hooked up with someone?
Damn man! You are really going deep into my life, but its ok maybe that’s what the people wanna know. I’m Single, but in a relationship which might end up at the alter; One never knows.
You are a good looking young man. What inspired you to do music and not acting, modeling, football or even swimming?
(Laughs Again) Really! Anyway thanks for the compliment. Let me break it down step by step
I was inspired to do music at the age of about 12years, by then I used to watch Michael Jackson and listen to some other Artists’ songs. From there, I started developing the love for music and I had one of my cousins who also loved music by name Z Maze so we usually hit the tables and chairs and singing. From there the love grew even bigger as I started making my own songs. I also took part at the Brasseries Music competition back in Cameroon. Unfortunately I came out third. From there I started making hit songs like what I’ve got today.

Wow! Great question. Actually if I tell you that I’m earning more as an artist then am lying. But the money I’m earning now, comes mostly from some concerts and Endorsement. But I can say I’m earning about 60% of the money am investing in music. I’m not on the lost side. But I’m pretty sure by the time I start selling my music online or when the CDs will be out then I should be proud of Earning about 80 - 95%
Besides music, what do you do?
I Work I’m an HSE Officer which is what took me from Dubai to here. You Know, real Niggas don’t’ focus on one thing you have to create a second source of income as to be sure of your tomorrow.
Almost the last question. Which artist from the Diaspora, Africa and Cameroon would you like to do a collabo with?
Good question. But right now I can’t tell you who I’ve got in mine because I got too many songs which I don’t yet know the ones that will be featured in the first Album. This tells you why I still don’t know the Artists I’m going to work with. But what you have to know is that I got so many of them in my list not only in Africa, Europe and America as well.
What Should your fans expect from you in few years to come?
I got a big surprised for you people which is a big International Collabo with a renowned Artist. You will be seeing this before next year comes to an end. While for the main time you can be expecting collabo with African Artists between now to June 2015
One last word 4 your fans
well I will like to thank all my fans for all their continuous and unstoppable support and the love they have been showing me all these past years and to promise them that am doing everything possible to make them proud. And I Pray that God should blessed them in whatever thing they are doing and whatsoever thing they lay their hands on should be multiplied 100%. I Dedicate this New Single ''I Can Be There'' to Them.
