Lambo Sandjo Pierre Roger (born
1957, died on March 16 2014), better known as Lapiro de Mbanga, was a Cameroonian singer who is noted for his 1985 recording of “Pas argent no love” and for being imprisoned in 2008 after criticizing Cameroon president Paul Biya in the song “Constitution constipée” (“Constipated Constitution”). It is indeed sad to know that Cameroon has lost another of her talents. It is true that we are going to miss him. But, his unbeatable works of art and fight for freedom shall forever remain in our heart. Last respect to "Ngataman". May His Soul Rest in Peace.
