Van Vicker was part of the eleven players who played for Ghana against Nigerian actors on the independence day. Unfortunately for him, he had to be substituted after ten minutes into the game and was rested for the remaining part of the match.

The football match was part of the activities lined up to celebrate Ghana’s independence.
The football friendly match was played at the Kumasi Sports Stadium in Ghana.
